nuclear tipped cruise missiles on underwing pods, (Illegal and forbidden),
and took off from Minot AFB, North Dakota.
If they were flying them to be de-commissioned,
it would be a 2 hour flight to New Mexico.
4 hours later, the B-52 shows up in Louisiana with 5, "FIVE",
nuclear tipped cruise missiles.
(Which, incidentally, is the U.S. staging area for operations in Iraq.)
The news only got out because the airmen who witnessed it reported it.
They're all dead now in mysterious car crashes, or of unknown causes.
